Wait... there's a test?SAT. ACT. Accuplacer. Workkeyes.
These exams test college & career readiness and/or aptitude. None of these exams test knowledge or smarts, but, for the most part, determine how well you can take the test. The standardized testing portion of the college or vocational program application is not necessarily the most fun, but is important for these programs to decide how likely it is that you will be successful academically. What does that even mean?
**For those considering taking the SAT or ACT exam, understand the differences between these tests before choosing which one to take. You can use EITHER TEST for admission to whatever college you apply to.**

Accuplacer Exam
The Accuplacer exam is administered four times daily (with the exception UAA closures and holidays) at the UAA Advising and Testing Center in the University Mall (3800 Old Seward Highway). Your test time options are 8:30am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, & 3:00pm. For those needing to take the Accuplacer for admission or placement at institutions in other states, please confer with your institution for instructions.
